Privacy Policy

The short version. FirstIn has no accounts, no logins and no database of users.
Your resume is read and scored by JavaScript running in your own browser and is
never uploaded — there is no server that could receive it. Saved jobs, your resume
and your last-visit date live in your browser's local storage and nowhere else.
What we collect
Nothing, unless you type an email address into the waitlist. We do not ask for your
name or phone number, there are no accounts, and there is nothing to log in to. Using FirstIn
— searching, filtering, the resume matcher, the prep pack, the career file —
requires no personal information whatsoever.
The waitlist. If you enter an email address on the pricing page, that address is
stored, together with the date and the page you entered it on, in a private spreadsheet owned
by FirstIn and hosted by Google. It is used for one thing: to email you when job alerts and
the paid tiers go live. It is never sold, rented, published or passed to anyone else, and it
is not linked to anything else on this site — your searches, your saved jobs and your
resume all stay on your device and are never attached to it. Ask us at
ant588362@gmail.com at any time and the address is deleted.
FirstIn is a set of static files served from a CDN. Our hosting provider (Vercel)
processes standard server request logs, which include IP addresses, as part of delivering
and protecting the site. We do not use those logs to build profiles, and we do not combine
them with anything else.
Your resume
This is the part worth reading carefully, because it is unusual.
- When you add a resume, the file is read inside your browser. The text is
extracted there, matched against a fixed list of skills there, and scored against job
titles there.
- The result is stored in your browser's local storage, on your device.
- Nothing about your resume is transmitted to us or to anyone else. FirstIn has
no upload endpoint, no server-side processing and no third-party document or AI
service in this path. This is a property of how the feature is built, not a policy
we are asking you to trust us on.
- Pressing Delete in the resume panel removes it from your browser immediately
and completely. Clearing your browser's site data does the same.
Other things stored on your device
- Saved jobs — the web addresses of postings you saved.
- Last visit — the date you were last here, so we can show what has opened
since.
These are stored using local storage rather than cookies. They never leave your device
and we cannot see them.
Analytics, advertising and tracking
We do not run advertising. We do not use tracking pixels, advertising cookies, session
recording, fingerprinting or cross-site tracking, and we do not sell or share personal
information with anyone, for any purpose. There is no personal information to sell.
Job data and the companies we list
Every job posting on FirstIn comes from a job board that the employer itself publishes
publicly, through Greenhouse, Lever or Ashby. We store job titles, locations, departments,
salary ranges where the employer published one, and links back to the original posting.
We do not store or publish information about individual people. No recruiter
names, no hiring manager names, no contact details. If we ever encountered a posting
containing personal contact details, we would not publish them.
If you are a company and want to be removed
Email ant588362@gmail.com from a company address and we will
stop listing that company's postings. No reason required. We aim to action requests
within 7 days, and the removal persists through every future update — it is enforced
in the code that builds this site, not by hand.
Two honest limitations: we cannot change or remove the original posting on the
employer's own job board, and we cannot remove copies other sites may have made.
Children
FirstIn is not directed at children and is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not
knowingly collect information from children. The only personal information we ever hold is a
waitlist email address someone typed in themselves; if that belongs to a child, email
ant588362@gmail.com and it is deleted.
Your rights
Privacy laws including the GDPR and the CCPA give you rights to access, correct, delete
and port your personal information, and to object to its processing. We have designed
FirstIn so that we hold almost none of it: everything personal stays on your device, under
your control, and you can delete it yourself at any time without asking us. The single
exception is a waitlist email address, and one message to
ant588362@gmail.com removes it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
